Description

This piece is made from rectangular steel tubing with quarter inch glass panels. This piece and its larger counter part are part of a body of work inspired by the industrial revolution as well as present industry and in this case the deterioration of industry in the USA. It seems like you do not have to travel too far to come across an abandoned factory. This piece is inspired by those abandoned or run down factory’s where the exterior walls are full of thousands of small windows, most broken or a different color showing the various times when those panels were replaced. Fragment and elegant, this piece emphasizes the beauty and form of those factories.
